All students of St. Gregorys are invited to enter, and children will participate in a variety of ANZ Tennis Hot Shots games according to age, to determine the School Champions for 2016.

Prep:
Grade 1 & 2
Grade 3 & 4
Grade 5 & 6
The winner in each category will be presented a trophy at school assembly, and EVERY child receives a medal!

But my child has never played before but wants to have a go? Absolutely all children are welcomed, regardless if you have never played tennis before.

Can my prep child really compete? YES, absolutely, children compete in the school yard in a variety of games at recess and lunchtime. All activities and games are modified to the age and ability of each child, so all children regardless of age or ability can join.

How can my child compete if they can’t serve or hit the ball? All children are placed into sections according to age and ability. The school Champion in each grade level is based on success against other students of a similar ability. We have loads of competition formats which don’t require serving, as well as using modified balls and equipment, all children will be able to connect with the ball and compete.
